SAP Functional Lead - Logistics Operations (EWM / TM)
📍 Mumbai, India (On-site)
📅 2-Year Contract
We're currently seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead with strong expertise in Logistics Operations to join a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This role will focus on Warehouse Management and Transportation Management processes within a complex supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead logistics process discovery and As-Is/To-Be design workshops.
Drive migration from SAP Central Warehouse Management (CWM) to Embedded SAP EWM.
Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management solutions.
Configure and optimise SAP EWM processes, including:
Warehouse structure design
Inventory management
Goods movement processes
RF transactions
Handling Unit Management
Physical Inventory
Design freight collaboration capabilities using SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN).
Support logistics master data readiness and data quality initiatives.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and business stakeholders throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Support testing, deployment and post-go-live activities.
Required Experience
8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience within logistics and supply chain domains.
Proven expertise in SAP EWM and SAP Transportation Management.
Experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP implementation programmes.
Strong configuration experience across warehouse and transportation processes.
Hands-on knowledge of freight planning, carrier collaboration, execution and settlement processes.
Previous experience supporting CWM to Embedded EWM migrations is highly desirable.
Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, retail or distribution environments preferred.
