Role Description This is a full-time Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru South, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and overseeing general ledger entries. Responsibilities include managing statutory compliance, taxation (direct and indirect), audits, and regulatory filings, while ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and local regulations. The role involves analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, providing management reports, and offering guidance on cost control and financial efficiency. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory authorities, and may contribute to process improvements and implementation of financial controls.
Qualifications
Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with active membership in a recognized professional body.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
Experience in direct and indirect tax, including preparation and review of tax returns and coordination with tax consultants.
Hands-on experience with audits, internal controls, and risk management in a corporate or professional services environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid skills in MS Excel and other productivity tools.
Ability to interpret financial data, prepare management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup and manage deadlines.
Prior experience in a similar role in Bengaluru or within the broader corporate/consulting sector is an advantage.
