Role Description The PGT Mathematics role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jhajjar. The educator will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons for senior classes in alignment with the school curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, explaining complex mathematical concepts in an accessible manner, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves designing and updating teaching materials, supporting students during examinations, and maintaining accurate academic records. The PGT Mathematics faculty member will also participate in departmental meetings, parent interactions, and school initiatives that promote academic excellence and holistic growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and demonstrated expertise in Mathematics Education.
Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning to design effective, structured learning experiences.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts clearly and engage diverse learners.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, along with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.
Prior experience teaching Mathematics at the senior secondary level (PGT) in a school setting is highly beneficial.
Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction and familiarity with modern teaching tools and digital resources.
Strong classroom management, student mentorship capabilities, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy.
Professional integrity, collaborative mindset, and willingness to participate in co-curricular and school development activities.
