About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Executive to manage and execute day-to-day social media activities across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of social media trends, content publishing, audience engagement and basic video editing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain social media platforms on a daily basis.
Create raw cuts from long-form videos for Reels, Shorts and other social media content.
Identify interesting and engaging clips from long videos.
Schedule and publish posts, Reels, Stories and Shorts across relevant platforms.
Write basic captions, hashtags and post copy as required.
Respond to comments, DMs and audience queries professionally and on time.
Monitor social media trends, trending audio and content formats.
Coordinate with the content and video team for regular content requirements.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure content is published on time.
Track basic social media performance and engagement.
Support the team with content ideas and social media campaigns.
Keep up with platform updates, trends and best practices.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in social media management/execution preferred.
Basic knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
Basic video editing skills for creating raw cuts and short-form content.
Good communication and writing skills.
Understanding of social media trends and audience engagement.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proactive, creative and detail-oriented approach.
