We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our team in Vadodara. In this role, 80% of your work will involve supporting our non-profit initiatives, while 20% will focus on corporate legal tasks. This internship offers hands-on experience in both non-profit and business environments, making it an ideal learning opportunity for law students or recent graduates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing legal frameworks and policies for our non-profit wing.
- Provide legal support for community initiatives, including human rights, legal aid, and entrepreneurship programs.
- Conduct research on laws related to the non-profit sector, including charity, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support awareness programs by drafting materials on legal rights and advocacy.
- Help manage legal documentation related to fundraising, partnerships, and community outreach.
- Corporate Legal Support (20%):
- Draft, review, and assist with legal documents and contracts for the corporate arm.
- Provide assistance with compliance and regulatory tasks.
- Conduct legal research and prepare briefs on business law, intellectual property, and employment law.
Requirements:
- Current law student or recent graduate (LLB/LLM preferred).
- Strong understanding of Indian legal systems and basic knowledge of non-profit and corporate law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Gujarati.
- Ability to research and analyze legal information efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passionate about working in both corporate and non-profit environments.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical work practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with legal drafting tools and software.
- Prior experience in a legal internship or legal volunteer work.
- Interest or experience in the non-profit sector, especially in areas like human rights, legal aid, or entrepreneurship support.
