Front-End Developer - Job Description
Role
As a Front-End Developer, you will focus on building responsive web applications and
cross-platform mobile interfaces. You should be a team player with a strong eye for visual
design, user experience (UX), and interface utility.
You'll be part of a cross-functional team, translating UI/UX design wireframes into
high-quality, clean code. You will collaborate with backend developers and product teams to
implement features, perform unit testing, and ensure high performance across both web
browsers and mobile devices.
Responsibilities
● Build reusable code and libraries for future use across web and mobile platforms.
● Develop user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks.
● Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
● Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and
technical implementation.
● Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing web and mobile interfaces.
● Ensure cross-browser compatibility and smooth mobile device performance.
Skills and Personal Characteristics
● 1–2 years of professional experience in front-end web and/or mobile development.
● Strong proficiency in core front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
(ES6+).
● Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS (for web) and React
Native or AngularJS (for mobile/web).
● Familiarity with mobile responsive design principles and mobile app deployment
basics.
● Experience with version control tools like Git.
● Good communication skills and the flexibility to adapt quickly in a startup
environment.
● Great attention to detail with a knack for pixel-perfect UI implementation.
● Exposure to Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is a plus.
Educational Qualifications
● B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or related engineering streams
● B.Sc / M.Sc in Computer Science / IT
● BCA / MCA
● Note: Driven freshers with a strong portfolio of projects/internships in React/React
