About the Role
We are hiring Senior Accountants / SMEs – Record-to-Report (R2R) with strong hands-on experience in General Ledger, General Accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, payroll accounting, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to independently manage R2R activities, resolve accounting issues, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end R2R / General Ledger / General Accounting activities.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
- Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and outstanding items.
- Handle payroll accounting and related accounting entries.
- Prepare and review financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders on accounting-related queries.
- Contribute to process improvement, transition, and process stabilization activities.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
- For SME roles, provide subject matter expertise and guidance to team members.
Required Skills
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in R2R / GL / General Accounting.
- Strong experience in month-end and year-end closing.
- Good knowledge of Journal Entries, Accruals, Provisions & Reconciliations.
- Understanding of Payroll Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles & Financial Reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good stakeholder/client coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Oracle / M3 / Yardi experience is preferred.
- Process transition, improvement, or team-support experience is an advantage for SME candidates.
