As we expand our SAP engineering and AI capabilities, we are looking for an experienced SAP CAPM Developer who can design and develop enterprise-grade SAP BTP applications while also building AI-powered solutions and AI Agents within the SAP ecosystem.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP CAPM Developer with 5+ years of overall SAP/application development experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP/CAPM), SAP BTP, SAP AI Core, and SAP Integration Suite.
This is a hands-on development role. The candidate should be able to independently design, develop, integrate, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise applications on SAP BTP.
A key requirement is practical experience with AI development in the SAP ecosystem, including the ability to design and build AI Agents and agentic AI solutions that can interact with enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and business data.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP/CAPM).
Develop CAP-based applications and services using Node.js and/or Java.
Design and implement CDS models, business services, service handlers, APIs, and application logic.
Build, deploy, configure, and manage applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Work extensively with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry services and application environments.
Develop AI-enabled enterprise applications using SAP AI Core and related SAP AI capabilities.
Design and develop AI Agents / Agentic AI solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
Integrate AI Agents with enterprise applications, APIs, SAP services, databases, and external systems.
Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, orchestration, grounding, and enterprise AI use cases.
Integrate SAP applications and external systems using SAP Integration Suite.
Develop and manage integrations using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and APIs.
Work with SAP API Management (APIM) and REST/OData-based services where required.
Integrate CAP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP applications.
Work with SAP HANA Cloud and design efficient data models for enterprise applications.
Implement authentication, authorization, destinations, connectivity, and role-based access within SAP BTP.
Troubleshoot application, integration, deployment, authentication, and performance issues.
Collaborate with SAP architects, integration developers, AI engineers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions.
Follow enterprise development standards for security, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical reviews and development standards.

Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in SAP/application development.
Strong hands-on experience developing production applications using SAP CAP/CAPM.
Proven experience working with SAP BTP and its services.
Hands-on experience with SAP AI Core and SAP's enterprise AI ecosystem.
Demonstrable experience building AI Agents, AI-powered workflows, or agentic applications.
Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, authentication, security, and cloud application architecture.
Ability to independently take ownership of technical requirements from design through development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
