About the role
We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern who is interested in understanding business requirements, analyzing processes, and working with different teams to support business and product decisions.
The intern will work closely with business, product, technology, and other teams to understand requirements, document processes, analyze data, and help identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders.
Assist in documenting business and functional requirements.
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and requirement documents under guidance.
Work with product and technical teams to communicate business requirements clearly.
Conduct basic data analysis and prepare reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
Support in creating dashboards, presentations, and business reports.
Participate in meetings with stakeholders and maintain meeting notes and action items.
Assist in identifying business problems and suggesting possible solutions.
Conduct market, competitor, and industry research when required.
Support testing and validation of new features or process changes.
Track project requirements, updates, and deliverables.
Perform any other business analysis activities assigned by the team.
Required skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Ability to understand and document business requirements.
Basic knowledge of business processes and data analysis.
Good presentation and documentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn business analysis tools and methodologies.
Good to have
Basic knowledge of SQL.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or similar tools.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Basic knowledge of creating flowcharts and process diagrams.
Academic background in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Educational Qualification
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
