Staff Accountant

A fast-growing US fintech is scaling its India accounting team and has partnered with Flexiple to hire. You will handle real transaction volume for a company building modern financial products. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Staff Accountant, you will keep the day-to-day ledger accurate, supporting reconciliations, payables, and the monthly close so the senior team can rely on clean numbers.
Key Responsibilities
Transactions & Ledger
Record journal entries, accruals, and prepaid schedules
Process accounts payable, receivable, and expense reports
Reconcile bank, card, and payment-processor accounts
Close Support
Prepare schedules and workpapers for month-end close
Flag discrepancies early and help resolve open items
Keep documentation organised and audit-ready
Ideal Candidate Profile
2 to 5 years in accounting or general-ledger support roles
A firm grip on double-entry accounting and reconciliations
Comfort with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or a similar accounting system
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
B.Com or M.Com, with CA Inter a plus
Exposure to high-volume or fintech transaction environments
Comfort with a partial US time-zone overlap
