Your Role and Responsibilities
The role will act as a technical interface between Maintenance, Production, Engineering and external suppliers, combining hands-on troubleshooting support with data analysis, maintenance performance monitoring and improvement initiatives.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
Supporting maintenance technicians in the troubleshooting and resolution of equipment failures, ensuring effective and timely interventions.
Coordinating external suppliers and service providers, from intervention planning and technical support through to verification of completed activities.
Collecting, analyzing and reporting maintenance and breakdown data for monitoring and improve maintenance KPIs
Managing and leveraging the CMMS to ensure accurate maintenance records, preventive maintenance activities and analysis of equipment history.
Developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear visibility of maintenance performance and support data-driven decision making.
Supporting the Engineering team in the improvements of existing equimenets and installation, commissioning and start-up of new equipment and automation systems.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving maintenance processes, equipment performance and overall production efficiency.
Qualifications for the Role
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Automation Engineering or a technical diploma with relevant experience.
Previous experience in industrial maintenance, engineering or automation is preferred.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with a structured approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Ability to work effectively with maintenance technicians, production teams, engineering functions and external suppliers.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and a strong interest in data analysis and KPI management.
Proactive mindset, ownership and ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Knowledge of Power BI (or similar data analysis and visualization tools) and SAP, together with familiarity with maintenance strategies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Continuous Improvement methodologies, would be considered an advantage.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation and control systems, as well as experience in the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and automation systems.
You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Compensation Package
As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:
Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico
Minimum annual salary: €36.000,00
Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
