Role Description The Solutions Architect – Okta Identity and Access Management will design, implement, and maintain secure IAM solutions using Okta for enterprise-scale environments. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South involves translating business and security requirements into technical architectures, defining integration patterns, and ensuring robust identity lifecycle management. The role includes collaborating closely with security, infrastructure, development, and product teams to integrate Okta with applications and directories, implement SSO, MFA, and access policies, and support compliance and governance needs. The Solutions Architect will create technical documentation, standards, and best practices; troubleshoot complex IAM issues; and guide teams through solution rollout and optimization. The position also requires staying current with IAM trends, evaluating new Okta features, and recommending enhancements to improve security, scalability, and user experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Okta Identity and Access Management expertise, including SSO, MFA, user provisioning, lifecycle management, and policy configuration.
Candidates should possess skills in identity architecture and security, such as designing IAM frameworks, role-based access control, zero-trust principles, and integration with directories (e.g., AD, LDAP).
Candidates should possess hands-on experience with cloud and application integration, including REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and integrating SaaS and on-premise applications with Okta.
Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting and optimization, including performance tuning, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of IAM solutions.
Candidates should possess strong documentation and collaboration skills, including writing technical specifications, solution design documents, and effectively communicating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Relevant experience in enterprise security, infrastructure, or solution architecture, preferably within telecom, IT services, or digital platforms, is beneficial.
