Role Description This full-time, on-site Import Executive role is based in Ahmedabad within the manufacturing industry. The Import Executive will coordinate and manage import logistics activities, including documentation, shipment tracking, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Daily responsibilities include handling import and export documentation, resolving shipment issues, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade regulations. The Import Executive will also support customer service needs by communicating shipment status, addressing queries, and contributing to smooth supply chain operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Import Logistics and Import processes.
Understanding of Export procedures and related documentation.
Effective Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain professional relationships.
Familiarity with manufacturing industry supply chain operations and international trade regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or logistics software.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field.
