This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your scientific knowledge directly shapes how AI reasons about protein folding, metabolic flux, enzyme kinetics, and beyond. No AI background required — just deep domain expertise and a sharp analytical mind.

What You'll Do
Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced biochemistry problems spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, structural biology, and drug-target interactions to rigorously test AI performance
Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for high-level scientific reasoning in AI systems
Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical reasoning for technical accuracy and adherence to scientific standards
Identify and Fix Reasoning Errors — Spot logical flaws like incorrect stoichiometry, misapplied stereochemistry, or flawed mechanistic reasoning, and provide structured feedback to improve AI thinking
Who You Are
PhD-level expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field (completed or in final stages)
Strong foundational knowledge in areas such as structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, or bioinformatics
Ability to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and concisely in written form
High attention to detail when reviewing chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental logic
No prior AI experience required — we'll provide everything you need to get started
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, evaluation, or quality assurance workflows
Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST
Background in scientific writing, peer review, or technical editing
