Eligibility Criterion
The candidate should be willing to travel to villages in and around Patiala and nearby rural areas. Basic knowledge of operating a smartphone is required. The candidate should have their own vehicle and able to travel through villages.
Duration
One month, commencing from the last week of September 2026.
Essential Skills
Experience in field data collection and household surveys; familiarity with digital data collection tools (ODK / Kobo Toolbox or similar); good communication skills in Punjabi and Hindi; ability to travel to rural field sites in Patiala.
Job Description
Conducting an endline survey of farmers enrolled under the Digital Village Project; collecting structured data on agricultural practices, technology adoption, and yield outcomes using digital survey tools; assisting in the removal and retrieval of IoT equipment (sensors, meters, and remote controllers) installed in the project fields; ensuring data quality, completeness, and timely submission of collected records.
Desirable
Prior experience in agricultural or rural surveys. Candidates Nearby Patiala will be preferred.
