Price Book Assistant
Location: Ahmedabad
Salary: 10-12 LPA
Shift: 7 pm to 5 am IST
Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Price Book Assistant to maintain accurate product pricing, costs, margins, and sales reporting across multiple retail stores. This role is ideal for someone with experience in retail pricing, merchandising, inventory, bookkeeping, or other accuracy-focused, numbers-driven positions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the price book across all retail locations.
Review product costs and retail prices to ensure the correct margins are maintained.
Update pricing when vendor costs change.
Identify pricing or margin errors and make necessary corrections.
Review margins by product, category, and store.
Prepare recurring sales summaries and sales reports for management.
Analyze sales data to identify products that are underperforming or require pricing review.
Make bulk price and cost updates using Excel and import the changes into the retail back-office system.
Cross-check pricing, cost, sales, and margin information for accuracy.
Maintain accurate product and pricing records across all stores.
Required Qualifications
4–5+ years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising, bookkeeping, inventory, or a similar detail-oriented role.
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large amounts of data.
Good understanding of cost, selling price, markup, and margin.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable with repetitive data entry and data validation.
Experience with a POS, ERP, inventory, or retail back-office system.
Experience handling multi-store pricing or product databases is preferred.
ECRS Catapult experience is a plus, but not required.
