About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with 4–6 years of experience to join our Data & Analytics team.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Data Analysis, Data visualization, data modelling, and reporting. Technical skills in dashboarding and SQL would be an advantage. Strong experience in last 6-12 months in using AI tools for work and analytics is a must. Experience with Fabric or Databricks. At least strong experience in one domain or function within any industry.
The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements, analyze data, model data, identify KPI’s and trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
The role requires someone who can independently handle data analysis assignments, communicate findings clearly, and take ownership of deliverables from requirement gathering to final implementation. Further collaborate with the development team to deliver final deliverables to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and business opportunities.
Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into analytical solutions with KPIs
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations alongwith a technical team.
Perform data cleaning, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Document calculated measures, KPIs, and business metrics
Work with data from multiple sources and perform data integration as required.
Analyse business performance and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
Identify data quality issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
Conduct data validation and testing before dashboard/report deployment.
Monitor existing reports and dashboards and troubleshoot data or reporting issues.
Prepare documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, calculations, and business logic.
Support UAT, deployment, and post-production issues.
Present analytical findings and insights to business stakeholders in a clear and simple manner.
Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve analytics processes.
Required Skills & Experience
4–6 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related role.
Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, Power BI/tableau/Qlik
Strong understanding of data modelling, including relationships, dimensions, facts, and star schema.
Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Experience working with multiple data sources such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud data sources.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into meaningful reports and insights.
Good understanding of data visualization principles and KPI reporting.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Past proven Experience in one industry/domain/function for analytics
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
