Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular) | Banking Domain

PeopleCap is hiring on behalf of a client in the banking and financial services space. This is a hands-on full stack engineering role building applications that run in a regulated banking environment, where correctness, security and performance are not negotiable.
You will work across the stack. Core Java and Spring on the server side, Angular on the front end, relational databases underneath. You will own features end to end, from reading a functional requirement to shipping production-quality code.
Location is Pune and the role is fully on-site. It is not remote or hybrid.

M.Tech or M.Sc. Candidates holding only B.E, B.Tech or MCA are not eligible for this role.
Three to five years of professional development experience.
Able to join immediately or within a 30-day notice period.
What you will do
Build and maintain features across Java and Spring services and Angular interfaces
Convert functional requirements into technical designs and working code
Carry out impact analysis and identify risks and dependencies before you build
Debug production issues down to root cause rather than symptoms
Write secure, reusable and maintainable code, and tune both database and application performance
Required skills
Strong hands-on Core Java and Spring Core
Strong knowledge of RDBMS, SQL and database concepts
Hands-on with an ORM framework, either MyBatis or Hibernate
Hands-on with Angular
Good understanding of REST APIs and application integration
Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, data structures, exception handling and multithreading
Working knowledge of secure coding, API security, and database and application performance optimisation
Strong debugging and problem-solving ability
