JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern to join our engineering team in Kharadi, Pune, for a 6-month internship. The intern will work with experienced engineers on real-world software projects, gaining hands-on experience in development, testing, debugging, Git workflows, and production-quality codebases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Navigate and understand existing large-scale software and open-source codebases.
Develop features, enhancements, and bug fixes under the guidance of senior engineers.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Create and maintain automated tests and troubleshoot software issues.
Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
Use Git/GitHub for branching, commits, pull requests, and collaboration.
Document technical decisions and implementation details.
Collaborate with engineers and independently manage assigned tasks.
Continuously learn and apply modern software engineering practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in at least one: Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
Basic understanding of automated testing and debugging.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively.
Ability to commit to the complete 6-month internship.
Willingness to work from Kharadi, Pune, as required.
GOOD TO HAVE
Active GitHub profile with meaningful coding activity.
Open-source contributions or merged Pull Requests.
Personal or academic software projects.
Familiarity with Pytest, Jest, Vitest, Go Test, JUnit, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
Hackathon, coding competition, or previous software internship experience.
