Role Description The Vice President Strategy Business Development is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Roorkee. This role is responsible for defining long-term business strategy, identifying growth opportunities in all types of EPC and electrical manufacturing, and leading strategic initiatives across key markets and customer segments. The position involves developing and executing business plans, driving strategic partnerships, and overseeing major projects to ensure alignment with company goals. The Vice President will collaborate with senior leadership, sales, operations, and engineering teams to optimize portfolios, improve market positioning, and support profitable expansion. Day-to-day responsibilities include market analysis, competitive benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, performance tracking, and reporting on strategic outcomes to the executive team.
Qualifications
Strong Business Planning and Strategic Planning skills to define growth roadmaps and long-term objectives.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret market data, financial metrics, and performance indicators for informed decision-making.
Proven Project Management experience to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver complex solar and electrical projects on time and within budget.
Ability to build and manage Strategic Partnerships with clients, vendors, and institutional stakeholders in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Extensive experience in business development or strategy roles, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or electrical manufacturing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team development, change management, and collaborative decision-making.
Relevant academic background such as an MBA or equivalent degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with Indian energy policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards is an advantage.
