We’re hiring: Product Engineer (Full Stack & AI)

Nexthara is a DPIIT and Kerala Startup Mission recognised startup working across study abroad, education finance and the complete student journey.
You’ll work directly with the founder, take ownership of our existing product and develop it into a secure, reliable and scalable platform.
Who we’re looking for
• 2 to 6+ years of strong product engineering experience, preferably in startups or SaaS.
• Personally taken at least one product from 0 to 1, into production with real users.
• Owned a product or system end to end, including architecture, delivery and ongoing operation.
• Strong practical system design, database design, API integration and cloud architecture skills.
• Handled real production challenges involving scaling, security, debugging, deployments, monitoring and reliability.
• Built integrations across external platforms and complex workflow automations.
• Comfortable auditing an existing codebase and improving or rebuilding parts where needed.
• Strong product thinking, business understanding and problem solving ability.
• Able to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and use AI tools effectively.
• High ownership, speed and accountability.
Our core stack: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL.
Highly preferred: Practical experience with AI/LLM products, agents, RAG, AI workflows, WhatsApp/Meta or telephony integrations.
B.Tech, BE, BSc CS, MCA or equivalent technical education is preferred. Exceptional builders are welcome regardless of degree.
