Modern Quests is a premium retailer specializing in contemporary decor, homeware, and lifestyle accessories. We sell more than 5000 products from design-led international and domestic brands and our main categories include decor, tableware, glassware, kitchenware and bath accessories. This is an exciting opportunity to be an assistant store manager at our new retail store in Mumbai.
Location:
Khar West, Mumbai
Salary Range:
Rs. 40,000 - 60,000 (based on experience) + Incentive
Main Responsibilities Include:
1. Ensure the store operates smoothly and all staff is well trained to handle customers
2. Greet walk-in customers and explain the various products and their usage or specifications
3. Ensure all categories and assortment are displayed as per VM requirements
4. Handle billing via POS software and card machines to ensure transactions are handled smoothly
5. Perform inventory checks routinely to ensure stock is matching as per inventory software
6. Manage store staff and plan weekly & month rosters to ensure sufficient coverage
Required Candidate Profile:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury or premium retail
2. Previous experience in home decor or a luxury brand would be preferred
3. Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a reputed university
4. Excellent spoken and written English
5. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude for handling customer queries
6. Must be able to commute regularly to Khar West location
