SAP BW & SLT Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW & SLT Analyst with 5–6 years of experience in SAP BW on HANA and SAP SLT. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW 7.5, data modelling, ADSOs, transformations, DTPs, process chains, BW queries, and SAP SLT replication. The role involves development, production support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and managing real-time data replication across enterprise systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
SAP BW Development & Support
Design, develop, and support SAP BW on HANA data models, data flows, transformations, DTPs, process chains, and BW queries.
Develop and maintain ADSOs, InfoObjects, data models, and reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot data load failures, process chain errors, transformation issues, and production incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring BW issues.
Optimize BW data models, transformations, queries, and data loads for better performance.
Support reporting through SAP Analysis for Office, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Power BI.
Participate in requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
SAP SLT Replication – Mandatory
Configure and manage SAP SLT replication for initial loads and real-time/delta replication.
Configure table replication, filters, transformation rules, and table additions.
Monitor SLT replication including table status, latency, throughput, triggers, logging tables, and background jobs.
Troubleshoot failed tables, missing records, trigger errors, replication inconsistencies, and replication backlogs.
Analyze SLT performance and implement improvements to reduce replication latency.
Manage SLT changes and transports across Development, Quality, and Production environments.
Operations & Collaboration
Manage incidents, service requests, and enhancements according to defined SLAs.
Prepare technical documentation, support runbooks, and knowledge-transfer documents.
Coordinate with SAP functional teams, architects, infrastructure, reporting teams, and business stakeholders.
Follow organizational standards related to architecture, security, data governance, and change management.
Required Skills
