Role Overview
We are looking for a Power BI & Azure Data Specialist with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in building data pipelines, transforming structured and unstructured data, developing robust data models, and delivering business dashboards using Power BI.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across Azure, data engineering, Power BI, DAX, and AI-assisted analytics.
What You'll Do
Design and build data pipelines on Microsoft Azure to ingest, transform, and process data from multiple sources.
Convert unstructured and semi-structured data into structured, analytics-ready datasets.
Build and maintain scalable data transformation and integration workflows.
Design Power BI data models, dashboards, and management reports.
Develop and optimise DAX measures, calculated columns, and Power Query transformations.
Create effective star-schema models, relationships, hierarchies, and semantic layers.
Use AI tools and LLMs to accelerate data transformation, analysis, DAX development, anomaly detection, and insight generation.
Integrate AI capabilities into data and reporting workflows where appropriate.
Troubleshoot data quality, reconciliation, pipeline, calculation, and dashboard issues.
Ensure dashboards and datasets are accurate, tested, documented, and production-ready.
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of relevant experience in Power BI, data analytics, or data engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
Practical experience working with the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem.
Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT or data pipelines.
Experience transforming unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data for reporting and analytics.
Good understanding of SQL and database concepts.
Experience using AI/LLM tools within data, BI, or analytics workflows.
Strong analytical ability and attention to data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and deliver quickly without compromising quality.
Clear communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
