Role Description The Executive/Sr Executive Visa Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The role involves managing end-to-end visa processing for multiple destinations, including document verification, application form filling, appointment scheduling, and coordination with consulates, embassies, and visa centers. The professional will communicate with clients to collect necessary information, provide guidance on visa requirements, and track application status to ensure timely completion. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, updating internal systems, preparing reports, and collaborating with the travel operations team to align visa timelines with travel itineraries. The role also requires staying updated on changing visa regulations, resolving operational issues, and delivering responsive, service-oriented support to clients.
Qualifications
Strong visa operations and documentation skills, including handling different country requirements, verifying documents, and managing application forms.
Proficiency in client communication and customer service, with the ability to explain visa processes clearly and respond promptly to queries.
Solid administrative and organizational skills, including data entry, record-keeping, and managing multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfort with using computers and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) and internal travel/visa management systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy, especially in reviewing documents and completing applications to minimize errors and rejections.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders such as visa centers, consulates, and partner agencies.
Previous experience in visa processing, travel operations, or related travel industry roles is highly beneficial.
Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in travel and tourism, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Willingness to work from the Kolkata office on a full-time basis and adapt to changing visa rules and destination requirements.
