Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to achieve production targets.
Handle and effectively utilize production manpower as per workload and production requirements.
Prepare shift allocation and work allocation for operators and production staff.
Manage day-to-day production activities in the CNC and VMC machine shop.
Plan machine loading and production schedules as per customer requirements and delivery timelines.
Monitor production output, rejection, rework, machine downtime, and overall productivity.
Coordinate machine setup, job changeover, and smooth production flow.
Maintain production data and update production status in the ERP system.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores, and other departments for smooth production operations.
Prepare daily production reports, MIS, and other required production documentation.
Identify production issues and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety standards, and company production procedures.
Required Experience & Skills
3–6 years of relevant experience in CNC/VMC machine shop production.
Hands-on experience in production planning and shop-floor management.
Good experience in manpower handling and shift management.
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Good knowledge of production reporting and MIS.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and machining processes.
Good communication, team-handling, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under production targets and delivery deadlines.
