Project Engineer

The Project Executive is responsible for end-to-end coordination of projects post-order receipt from dealers. This includes identifying local vendors, handling procurement and payments to vendors, coordinating logistics, managing installation teams, ensuring timely project completion, quality inspections, and processing payments to Installation team. The role acts as a link between the dealer, vendor, and execution team to ensure smooth and timely delivery and installation of materials at the project site.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Handling & Vendor Coordination
· Review and understand project requirements upon receiving the order from the dealer.
· Identify and finalize local vendors for procurement of materials based on project location and requirements.
· Ensure timely purchase and delivery of required materials from selected vendors.
· Process and track payments to vendors against material procurements.
Material Dispatch & Logistics
· Coordinate the dispatch of materials from vendor/supplier to the designated site.
· Track and confirm delivery of materials at the project site.
· Maintain records of dispatch, delivery notes, and vendor invoices.
Installation Coordination
· Identify and assign installation teams based on the scope and complexity of the project.
· Allocate and communicate tasks clearly to the installation team.
· Liaise continuously with the dealer and installation team to ensure clarity of work scope and expectations.
Project Execution & Monitoring
· Ensure installation activities commence as per the planned schedule.
· Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of project execution.
· Address and resolve any issues or delays during execution in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Quality Control
· Conduct or coordinate post-installation quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
· Document and report quality findings and ensure rework (if any) is addressed promptly.
Payments & Documentation
· Process payments to installation teams upon successful and satisfactory completion of the project.
· Ensure all related documentation (purchase orders, invoices, quality checklists, completion reports) are properly maintained and archived.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with vendors
2–5 years of experience in project coordination/execution, preferably in the solar energy industry.
Strong understanding of solar energy systems, design principles, and installation practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
