Technical Architect - Java

Role Description The Technical Architect – Java is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing Java-based architectures, ensuring alignment with overall business and technology strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product owners and development teams to define technical solutions, reviewing and guiding software design, and creating architectural documentation and standards. The Technical Architect will oversee integration across systems, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide hands-on support and mentorship to developers to ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. The role also involves evaluating new tools and frameworks, participating in code and design reviews, and ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and security guidelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Architecture skills to design and document end-to-end Java-based systems.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development experience in Java and related frameworks to support hands-on implementation and guidance.
Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect applications, services, and APIs across heterogeneous systems.
Candidates should possess Enterprise Architecture understanding to ensure scalability, security, performance, and alignment with organizational standards.
Relevant experience in designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
