Role Description
The Data Analyst Intern role at Big7 Solutions & Media Pvt. Ltd. is an on-site internship based in Puducherry, India. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various digital and business sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Daily tasks include performing basic data analysis, generating reports and dashboards, and supporting data-driven insights for marketing, product, and operational teams. The intern will help build and refine data models, interpret trends, and collaborate with team members to present findings in a clear, actionable format. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world data, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities to contribute to decision-making in a fast-paced digital environment.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics experience to interpret datasets and identify patterns.
Knowledge of Statistics and Data Modeling to support hypothesis testing and building basic analytical models.
Effective Communication skills to present data insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or entry-level BI/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
Basic understanding of databases or SQL and a willingness to learn new analytical tools and techniques.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and manage tasks with attention to detail.
Hiring Preference: Candidates from Pondicherry/Puducherry are preferred.
