Pricing & Operation executive - Logistics

Role Description The Pricing & Operation Executive – Logistics is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru. The role involves preparing and reviewing freight quotations, coordinating pricing with carriers and agents, and ensuring accurate cost calculations for various modes of transport. Daily responsibilities include managing bookings, monitoring shipment status, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and maintaining up-to-date records in operational systems. The executive will handle documentation, support compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and assist in resolving operational issues to ensure timely deliveries. The role also includes analyzing operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements while maintaining clear communication with clients regarding shipment status and pricing.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Operations and Operations Management skills to handle end-to-end logistics activities and coordinate daily workflows.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate pricing, review shipment performance, and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization.
Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations is beneficial.
Knowledge of logistics documentation, Incoterms, and basic trade compliance is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems is preferred.
