Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajasthan, India, responsible for overseeing daily hotel, restaurant, banquet, and resort operations. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising front-of-house and back-of-house activities, and ensuring consistent service quality across all departments. The Operations Manager will monitor guest satisfaction, handle escalated issues, and coordinate with department leads to maintain smooth check-in/check-out, dining, event execution, and housekeeping operations. They will manage budgets, control costs, support inventory and vendor management, and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves training team members, implementing operational policies, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives to enhance occupancy, event bookings, and revenue.
Qualifications
Strong operations management skills across hotel, restaurant, banquet, or resort environments, including staff supervision and workflow coordination.
Experience in guest service and relationship management, with the ability to handle escalations, resolve issues, and uphold high service standards.
Proficiency in basic financial and administrative tasks, such as budgeting, cost control, reporting, and inventory oversight.
Ability to implement and maintain policies related to safety, hygiene, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance within hospitality settings.
Effective leadership, team-building, and communication skills, with the capacity to train, motivate, and evaluate team members.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with hotel management systems or property management software and general digital tools (email, spreadsheets, reports).
Relevant experience in hospitality operations; a diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Working proficiency in English and local languages commonly used in Rajasthan is an advantage.
