Project Manager- Power Generation

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, and close-out to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage and coordinate communication with customers and Balance of Plant (BOP) vendors across commercial, technical, and project planning matters.
Manage and prepare quality-related documentation, working closely with Cummins factories and BOP vendors.
Provide site management and project leadership at power generation project sites, including supporting installation and commissioning activities.
Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring project requirements and expectations are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project budgets, resources, schedules, and priorities to support successful delivery.
Identify and manage project complexity, conflicts, risks, and compliance requirements.
Monitor project performance and provide clear and timely project reporting and communication to relevant stakeholders.
Promote and maintain strong Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards across all project activities.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery, processes, and customer outcomes.
Take ownership of a broader scope of work than a traditional Project Manager role, contributing across technical, commercial, operational, and project delivery activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally within project management, power generation, engineering, construction, or a related industry.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
In-depth knowledge of power generation technologies, relevant regulations, and industry standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical and operational challenges.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience managing customers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders in a project environment.
A Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 would be advantageous.
