This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Product Management (Crim Automation) based in India.
This is a senior product leadership role focused on advancing global criminal and public-record automation capabilities at scale. You will own product strategy and execution across web, API, and bulk-data integrations, with a direct impact on operational efficiency, accuracy, cost optimization, and customer experience. The role combines strategic product ownership with hands-on involvement in requirements, prioritization, delivery, and continuous improvement. You will lead Product Owners and Business Analysts while partnering closely with engineering, data, operations, implementation, analytics, and senior leadership. Success will require balancing immediate business priorities with a long-term product vision and scalable technology strategy. This is an opportunity to shape high-impact automation products in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
Accountabilities
Own and execute the product roadmap, maintaining accountability for delivery timelines, business outcomes, product quality, and measurable impact.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, fostering strong execution, innovation, collaboration, and customer value.
Partner with engineering, data, operations, finance, analytics, and implementation teams to define and validate actionable product requirements and scalable solutions.
Drive end-to-end product delivery, including product design, backlog management, sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, release planning, and delivery tracking.
Prioritize roadmap initiatives and make informed trade-off decisions based on business value, operational efficiency, technical feasibility, and customer needs.
Define and monitor KPIs for automation performance, including turnaround time, data accuracy, cost efficiency, scalability, and coverage expansion.
Continuously improve automation frameworks to increase reuse, reduce manual intervention, accelerate fulfillment, and strengthen operational performance.
Lead project meetings, communicate progress against strategic objectives and timelines, and maintain alignment across diverse stakeholders.
Translate business challenges and data insights into clear product strategies, requirements, and solutions while maintaining a strong user-centered approach.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
7+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, software development, or a related field, ideally within a global organization.
Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing product teams, including Product Owners and Business Analysts.
Strong practical knowledge of Agile product development methodologies, product management practices, backlog management, and software delivery tools.
Proven ability to define product strategy and translate business objectives into actionable technical and product roadmaps.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and develop effective solutions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and organizational levels.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
Customer-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to user-centered product design and development.
Ability to balance short-term delivery requirements with long-term product vision, scalability, and business value.
Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
Certifications such as Pragmatic Institute, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, CAPM, or PMP are advantageous.
