Role Overview
We are seeking highly motivated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering professionals with strong experience in industrial operations, maintenance, engineering, asset management, and performance improvement initiatives. The candidate will support consulting engagements involving technical reviews, operational assessments, reliability improvement, capital project evaluation, and operational excellence programs for clients across asset-intensive industries.
The role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and client-facing consulting experience to deliver actionable recommendations that improve operational performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Technical Assessments
Conduct operational diagnostics, performance reviews, and technical assessments of industrial facilities and operations.
Evaluate plant operations, maintenance processes, and engineering practices to identify improvement opportunities.
Perform technical due diligence and operational risk assessments for transactions, investments, and strategic projects.
Benchmark operational performance against industry best practices and peer organizations.
Reliability & Asset Management
Assess asset management frameworks, maintenance strategies, and reliability programs.
Review equipment performance, utilization, maintenance effectiveness, and lifecycle management practices.
Identify reliability improvement opportunities and recommend preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance approaches.
Support asset integrity and risk-based maintenance assessments.
Capital Projects & Engineering Reviews
Evaluate capital project execution, project controls, governance, scheduling, and cost management practices.
Review construction management processes and project delivery performance.
Assess project risks, contract management approaches, and project assurance mechanisms.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
Support productivity enhancement and operational excellence initiatives.
Analyze production processes, bottlenecks, and efficiency drivers.
Develop recommendations to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and improve resource utilization.
Conduct cost optimization assessments and identify sustainable savings opportunities.
Maintenance & Shutdown Management
Review maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
Evaluate shutdown, turnaround, and outage management practices.
Assess work management systems, spare parts management, and maintenance governance frameworks.
Recommend approaches to improve equipment availability and plant reliability.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Conduct HSE compliance reviews and operational risk assessments.
Evaluate safety management systems, engineering controls, and operational risk mitigation measures.
Support implementation of industry-leading HSE practices and governance frameworks.
Client Advisory & Delivery
Prepare reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and management discussions.
Translate technical findings into strategic and actionable business recommendations.
Support business development activities, proposal preparation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's degree (MBA/PGDM) is an added advantage.
Relevant professional certifications in Reliability, Asset Management, Maintenance, Project Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or related domains are desirable.

Demonstrated capability in conducting technical, operational, reliability, or performance improvement assessments.
Strong understanding of industrial operations and engineering processes in asset-intensive environments.
Ability to travel to client sites and industrial facilities as required.
