THE OPPORTUNITY
As our HR Intern, you will be instrumental to our people operations at a critical growth stage. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role —
you won’t be shadowing, you’ll be owning. You will be hiring from a pool of premier institutes like IITs & IIMs, giving you direct
exposure to high-calibre talent acquisition early in your career.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Job Posting & Talent Sourcing
• Draft and publish compelling job descriptions on LinkedIn, Naukri, Internshala, and other relevant platforms
• Optimise listings with the right keywords, tags, and categories to maximise qualified applicant flow
• Monitor posting performance (views, applies, click-through) and iterate on copy and placement
• Maintain a structured tracker of all live postings, expiry dates, and platform-wise response rates
2. Candidate Screening & Shortlisting
• Review incoming applications and resumes against defined role criteria and scorecards
• Conduct initial phone/video screens to assess communication, motivation, and culture fit
• Maintain a candidate pipeline in our tracking system with clear status tags
• Flag high-potential profiles proactively and surface them to the hiring manager with a brief assessment note
3. Candidate Outreach & Interview Scheduling
• Reach out to passive candidates via LinkedIn InMail, email, and campus networks
• Coordinate interview slots between candidates and interviewers, managing calendar conflicts and time zones
• Send professional confirmation emails with interview details, role briefs, and any pre-interview material
• Follow up promptly post-interview with feedback collection and next-step communication to candidates
4. Onboarding & Documentation
• Prepare offer letters, internship agreements, and NDAs using standardised templates
• Run Day 1 onboarding: tool access setup, team introductions, founder connect, and role-specific briefing
• Collect and organise joining documents (ID proof, academic records, emergency contacts) in a secure repository
• Build and maintain an onboarding checklist to ensure a consistent, welcoming experience for every new joiner
5. Learning & Development
• Research and curate relevant learning resources (courses, articles, workshops) for team skill-building
• Help design a structured 30-60-90 day learning path for new interns and team members
• Coordinate internal knowledge-sharing sessions and cross-functional exposure opportunities
• Track completion and gather feedback to continuously improve L&D initiatives
WHO YOU ARE
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can write a crisp job post and hold a professional screening call
• Obsessively organised: you love trackers, checklists, and closing loops
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment with minimal hand-holding
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, or any ATS/HRMS tool is a plus but not necessary
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN
• End-to-end HR operations experience
• Direct exposure to hiring from premier talent pools including IITs, IIMs, and top colleges
• A certificate of completion and a strong letter of recommendation based on performance
• Mentorship from the founding team on startup culture, people strategy, and career growth.
