Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Search Engine Optimization Specialist role based in Chandigarh. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies that increase organic visibility and drive qualified traffic for Brandacy’s clients. Day-to-day tasks include performing keyword research, conducting technical and content-focused SEO audits, implementing on-page SEO recommendations, and managing link building initiatives in alignment with brand and performance goals. The role involves monitoring and interpreting web analytics, preparing performance reports, and collaborating closely with content, design, and paid media teams to ensure cohesive, results-driven campaigns. The SEO Specialist will also stay current with search engine algorithm updates, industry best practices, and emerging tools to continually refine and improve SEO performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to identify opportunities and optimize content structure, metadata, and internal linking.
Candidates should possess practical experience in SEO Audits to analyze site health, technical issues, and content gaps, and translate findings into clear action plans.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Link Building to develop ethical, high-quality backlink strategies that support authority and rankings.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Web Analytics to track performance, measure ROI, and derive insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and similar platforms.
Relevant additional qualifications include familiarity with common SEO and marketing tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz), understanding of HTML/CSS basics, and experience collaborating with content and development teams.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an on-site team environment are essential.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in SEO and digital marketing, is beneficial.
