Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Naharlagun. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable life insurance and related products. Daily responsibilities include meeting clients, explaining product features and benefits, assisting with proposal forms and documentation, and ensuring timely policy issuance and servicing. The role involves achieving sales and service targets, coordinating with branch and operations teams, and participating in local marketing or customer outreach activities. The Relationship Manager will also provide ongoing policy reviews and support to help customers adjust their coverage as their life stages and financial goals evolve.
Qualifications
Strong customer relationship management and client servicing skills, with the ability to understand and address diverse financial needs.
Sales and business development capabilities, including prospecting, closing, and achieving assigned targets in a structured, ethical manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex products in clear, simple language.
Basic financial literacy and understanding of life insurance, savings, investment, and protection products (prior insurance or financial services experience preferred).
Ability to work on-site in Naharlagun, manage time effectively, and handle field visits and customer meetings as required.
Proficiency in MS Office and comfort using digital tools or CRM systems for lead management and reporting.
Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional certifications in insurance or finance are an advantage.
High level of integrity, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset, with willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
