Finance Manager

About the role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Finance Controllership professional (CA) to manage financial reporting, book closure, MIS preparation, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, experience in fast-paced startup environments, and the ability to work cross-functionally with business and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts
Prepare and present Monthly MIS reports and financial analysis
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
Coordinate and manage quarterly and annual statutory audits
Work closely with internal stakeholders for reconciliations and financial controls
Support implementation and improvement of finance processes and SOPs
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure timely compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Taxation knowledge including GST/TDS/compliances would be an added advantage
Desired Skills/ Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (Must have)
2–4 years of post-qualification experience
Prior experience in startups and/or Big 4 preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Hands-on experience with MIS, audits, AP/AR management, and book closure
Good analytical and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting tools
