About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer who can bring fresh ideas, strong design concepts, and an understanding of current fashion trends to our team.
The ideal candidate should have a good eye for colours, fabrics, silhouettes, patterns and styling, along with the ability to take a design from concept to final execution.
Key Responsibilities 🎨
Develop new fashion designs, collections and concepts based on brand requirements.
Research current fashion trends, colours, fabrics and silhouettes.
Create mood boards, design boards and fashion illustrations.
Develop prints, patterns, embroideries and surface designs where required.
Select suitable fabrics, trims, colours and accessories for each design.
Prepare detailed tech packs/specifications for production.
Coordinate with tailors, sampling teams, vendors and manufacturers.
Review samples and suggest corrections related to fit, finishing, fabric and construction.
Maintain design files, samples and product details.
Assist in developing seasonal collections and new product lines.
Ensure designs are commercially viable while maintaining the brand's creative identity.
Skills Required ✨
Strong knowledge of fashion design, garment construction and fabrics.
Good understanding of current fashion trends.
Strong sense of colour, styling and aesthetics.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop is preferred.
Knowledge of CorelDRAW / CLO 3D / other fashion design software will be an advantage.
Ability to create professional fashion sketches and technical drawings.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with a commercial understanding of fashion.
Education 🎓
Bachelor's/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Apparel Design, Textile Design or a related field.
