Role Description The Senior Professional Consultant Artificial Intelligence Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sri Chamkaur Sahib. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered software solutions that support Vibracoustic’s engineering, product development, and manufacturing processes. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify use cases, building and training machine learning models, integrating AI algorithms into existing systems, and optimizing performance and reliability. The role also involves conducting data analysis, implementing best practices for MLOps, and ensuring solutions meet automotive industry standards for safety, quality, and scalability. The Senior Professional will mentor other team members, contribute to technical roadmaps, and provide expert consulting on AI strategy and architecture.
Qualifications
Strong software engineering skills, including proficiency in languages commonly used for AI (such as Python, C++, or Java) and experience with software design, testing, and version control.
Hands-on experience with machine learning and AI frameworks (for example, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and the ability to build, train, and evaluate models for real-world applications.
Solid background in data engineering and analytics, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured datasets.
Knowledge of MLOps and deployment practices, including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring AI models in production environments.
Experience applying AI or advanced analytics in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive contexts, ideally with exposure to NVH or related engineering domains.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; a PhD or equivalent industry experience is an advantage.
