Role Overview
We are looking for a Statutory Audit Executive to join our Finance and Compliance team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of statutory audit procedures, accounting principles, and compliance requirements, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
The role will provide hands-on exposure to audit assignments, client coordination, financial review, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and execution of statutory and assurance NBFC audits.
Perform vouching, verification, reconciliation, and analytical review.
Prepare and maintain audit working papers and supporting documentation.
Review financial records and identify discrepancies or control weaknesses.
Assist in preparation of audit reports and financial statements.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams for audit-related requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, IND AS, Companies Act, RBI Compliances and other regulatory requirements.
Support audit documentation and timely completion of client deliverables.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and quality throughout audit assignments.
Requirements
6 months – 3 years of relevant experience in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, or Assurance.
Strong understanding of audit procedures and accounting principles.
Knowledge of Companies Act, Accounting Standards, and IND AS.
NBFC audit experience will be preferred.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Tally.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work within deadlines.
B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.
