Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Orchha Palace and Resorts in Orchha. This role supports the sales team in driving room, event, and banquet revenues through proactive outreach, relationship building, and follow-up with existing and potential clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing inquiries, preparing proposals, coordinating site visits, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports. The Assistant Sales Manager collaborates closely with operations, front office, and F&B teams to ensure seamless execution of bookings and a high-quality guest experience. The role also involves monitoring market trends, contributing to sales strategies, and participating in promotional activities to enhance the resort’s visibility.
Qualifications
Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Experience in hospitality or hotel sales, preferably in luxury or resort environments.
Proficiency in communication, presentation, and professional correspondence.
Ability to work with CRM or booking systems and basic MS Office tools.
Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Comfort with on-site work schedules, including weekends or evenings as business requires.
Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a similar sales or coordination role will be an advantage.
