The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.
From the first cut of fabric to the final piece leaving the atelier, you’ll be the one keeping production moving.
We at Chambray & Co., a reputed fashion design house based out of Ahmedabad, are looking for a full-time Production Manager who is a self-motivated, and responsible individual to lead our entire manufacturing line—from intricate new collection samples to direct-to-customer orders. Working closely with our design team, artisans and vendors, you’ll bring plans to life while keeping timelines, quality and costs on track.
Role Details
• Full-time, on-site role
• Location: Ahmedabad
• Joining: ASAP
• Experience: 1–3 years
Plan and Schedule
• Plan production timelines, materials and fabric requirements.
• Coordinate schedules across artisans, vendors and the design team.
• Maintain structured Excel sheets for production tracking, fabric consumption, inventory and order status.
Production
• Oversee day-to-day production and resolve issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with artisans and ensure designs are executed as required.
• Control Cost & Quality: Balance affordability with durability, ensuring every piece meets our exacting standards and keeps customer satisfaction high.
• Minimize fabric waste to the greatest extent possible while maintaining meticulous consumption records to ensure zero production halts.
Execute Timely Delivery
• Ensure orders and samples are completed within timelines.
• Conduct final quality checks and coordinate timely handover to shipping.
• Keep the entire production process organised and moving smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects at once, with strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications
• Relevant education in fashion, production and a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in fashion, apparel production or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing multiple concurrent projects within manufacturing, apparel, or sustainable fashion supply chains.
• Exceptional skills in process planning, inventory tracking, and cost control.
• High emotional intelligence and communication skills to foster a collaborative, congenial "win-win" workspace for artisans and designers alike.
