Role:
We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Interoperability / FHIR Integration Engineer to build scalable healthcare data exchange and EMR/EHR integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop FHIR and HL7-based integrations.
Develop and integrate FHIR REST APIs.
Work with FHIR resources such as Patient, Encounter, Observation, Medication, and DiagnosticReport.
Integrate Epic, eClinicalWorks, and other EMR/EHR platforms.
Perform data mapping between HL7, FHIR, JSON, and XML.
Implement API authentication, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and healthcare stakeholders.
Required Skills:
5–12 years of healthcare IT/integration experience.
Strong hands-on experience with FHIR and HL7.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, and API testing.
EMR/EHR integration experience; Epic/eClinicalWorks preferred.
Knowledge of SMART on FHIR and healthcare terminologies is a plus.
Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare interoperability standards.
