Planning Manager – Data Center Projects

About the Role
URC Construction is seeking an experienced and dynamic Planning Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control activities for large-scale construction projects. Candidates with data centre project experience will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Prepare project baselines, resource plans, and recovery schedules.
Monitor project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Client teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Track project milestones, critical paths, and productivity metrics.
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and project progress presentations for management.
Conduct schedule risk analysis and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and contractual commitments.
Lead planning reviews and support management decision-making through data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the civil engineering discipline.
10+ years of experience in project planning and controls within the construction industry.
Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and project scheduling methodologies.
Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
✅ Experience in data centre/building construction projects is highly preferred.
✅ Knowledge of project control tools, cost monitoring, and reporting systems.
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
