Poll Greeters

About the Role
The Zudesa Corporation is hiring dependable, outgoing Temporary Poll Greeters for the upcoming election cycle. In this role, you will represent our political clients at assigned polling sites across Pitt County (with potential assignments in Edgecombe County), warmly greeting voters and handing out literature outside designated buffer zones.
Work Period & Schedule
Work Period: Early Voting period and Election Day.
Hours: Part-time, flexible scheduling up to a maximum of 39 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled in advance based on venue operations and coverage needs.
Key Responsibilities
Greet voters arriving at designated polling locations.
Hand out client campaign literature and voter guides in full compliance with local electioneering rules.
Maintain accurate time tracking using our digital employee portal for all worked shifts.
Maintain a professional, punctual, and reliable presence during scheduled shifts.
Pay Rate & Benefits
Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour
Payout Schedule: Paid weekly at the end of each work week, with a final paycheck issued following Election Day.
Employment Status: Temporary W-2 employee (standard payroll taxes withheld; covered under employer Workers' Compensation insurance).
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable transportation to assigned polling sites.
Ability to stand outdoors for the duration of scheduled shift blocks.
