About the Company: Gruner Renewable Energy is a growth-stage company vertically integrated across the bioenergy value chain, building CBG assets across India. Gruner operates across technology, agri-tech, manufacturing, infrastructure development, and EPC to deliver projects across India. The firm has a presence in India and Germany and is expanding its offices globally.
Role: Founder's Office-Operations, Noida
Behind every BioCNG plant we build, someone has to make sure nothing slips. That is this role.
We are looking for an operator who can bring structure to complex initiatives, maintain execution momentum, and ensure that important priorities move through to closure.
India's bioenergy sector is entering a significant growth phase. At Gruner, we are building a vertically integrated bioenergy platform spanning the upstream, midstream, and downstream BioCNG value chain.
What you will own:
• Establish the operating rhythm for assigned projects and business portfolios, covering milestones, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, resolve issues, and keep critical initiatives moving.
• Represent the Founder's Office in key reviews and committees, ensuring that decisions and action items are followed through to closure.
• Provide the founder with concise, fact-based visibility on operational progress, emerging risks, and areas requiring intervention.
• Take ownership of high-priority initiatives and support teams with the strategic and operational inputs required for execution.
What we are looking for:
• Five to eight years of experience in project operations, PMO, business operations, or a founder's/CEO's office role.
• An engineering degree and/or an MBA with relevant industry experience.
• Experience in clean energy, infrastructure, EPC, manufacturing, or another capex-intensive business is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking capabilities.
• A high-ownership mindset and the motivation to build systems, solve difficult problems, and create visible, measurable impact.
