Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at MagnAid Hospitals in Hyderabad. This role oversees day-to-day hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments. The Duty Manager monitors patient flow, addresses service issues, and supports staff in delivering safe, timely, and efficient care. Key responsibilities include supervising front-line teams, managing incident and complaint resolution, ensuring adherence to hospital policies, and maintaining standards for patient experience and safety. The role also involves reporting operational concerns to senior management, assisting in emergency response protocols, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Operational management skills, including shift supervision, workflow coordination, and incident handling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, clinicians, and support staff.
Problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize demands, and meet service standards.
Knowledge of hospital administration, patient services processes, and basic healthcare quality and safety practices.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and support emergency response procedures and escalation protocols.
Proficiency in using hospital information systems and common office software for documentation and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; prior experience in hospital operations or front-office management is preferred.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by hospital operations.
