DayLive is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who is passionate about storytelling through video. As an intern, you will edit news videos, YouTube content, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and other digital media content for our platforms.
This is a 3–6 month internship designed to provide hands-on experience in digital media production and video editing. Stipend is performance-based and will be offered as per company policy. Outstanding interns may also be considered for a full-time opportunity based on their performance.
Responsibilities
Edit news videos, YouTube videos, Shorts, and Reels.
Add transitions, text, subtitles, background music, and visual effects where appropriate.
Create engaging videos optimized for social media platforms.
Maintain video quality, branding, and storytelling standards.
Work closely with reporters, content writers, and the creative team.
Organize and manage raw footage and project files.
Deliver edited videos within assigned deadlines.
Stay updated with current editing trends and social media formats.
Requirements
Pursuing or completed Graduation (any discipline; Media, Mass Communication, Film, or related field is a plus).
Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and social media content.
Creativity with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
