Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Car Driver and Receptionist located in Yelahanka. The role involves driving institute vehicles safely and efficiently for official duties, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring basic upkeep such as fuel checks and timely servicing. As Receptionist, the role includes welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, managing inquiries, and directing guests to appropriate offices or departments. The position also requires handling basic front-desk administrative tasks, such as maintaining visitor records, coordinating appointments, and supporting internal communication. The individual will collaborate with administrative staff to ensure courteous service, smooth operations, and a professional environment at all times.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear speaking, active listening, and polite interaction with visitors and staff.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and Service Quality skills to provide courteous reception, timely assistance, and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Automotive-related skills, such as safe driving practices, knowledge of traffic rules, and basic vehicle maintenance awareness.
Candidates should possess Training-related skills or willingness to undergo training in institute procedures, safety protocols, and front-desk systems.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and prior experience as a professional driver or receptionist is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and work respectfully with a diverse academic community.
Basic computer literacy (email, MS Office, telephone systems) and familiarity with maintaining logs or records will be beneficial.
Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in driving or office administration is an advantage.
